Merry Christmas….
On Friday, the 6th December, the Directors Hub members met for its 2024 finale at Shelter Hall, a lovely 7 kitchen restaurant, to bring an end to the year with drinks, fun and networking. We had over half our members join for what turned out to be a jolly lovely event.
Awards
The afternoon was kicked off with everyone grabbing a beverage and mingling. Sonny, founder of the Directors Hub, read out a small ditty and poem of sorts for hub members, and this included a toast everyone at the hub.We also announced the winner of the Best jumper / costume award, this went to Jon McGlashan of Bubblelife with his retro gaming Pacman jumper, a clear winner.
Jon was given a lovely bottle of Bolney Estate Wine.
Gifts of Highweald Wine Estate were also given to Robert Carpenter of Management Inspirations for ferrying Sonny around the whole year. Robert was basically Sonny’s chauffeur.
Paul Dallibar of Gordian Solutions was also given a bottle of Bolney Wine Estate as a big thank you for running the Hurstpierpoint Hub, the first hub that started everything
The breadth and wisdom of such long standing members, brings a unique dimension to the Directors Hub.
Along with the festivities, we also had Fay Millar craft some special gingerbread creations which saw 50% of them be standard gingerbread men and the other 50% being a little risque, and everyone loved them There was a lot of laughs all round as members liked this fun side to the hub not seen before.
Who said what?
During the course of the year, Sonny had been listening out for the best quotes. These were quotes that made people think, started an in-depth conversation or made the room chuckle. The aim of this game was to see who else had been listening, by asking the members to recall who had said what!

Sonny gave thanks to our Hub Leaders, and a special thank you to Janet Webb of our Worthing Hub who was given a lovely bottle of Vermouth for bringing in new members to the hub.
