Worthing Hub Is Officially Oversubscribed

Plenty of Laughter: Inside the Worthing Hub
Another Hub has reached full capacity. Hot on the heels of Hurstpierpoint, the Worthing Hub is now oversubscribed, four years after it first opened its doors.
Sonny Cutting, Founder, met Janet at a conference and the conversation opened from there.
Hub leader Janet Webb of Janet Webb Consulting runs the Hub in her own quirky, fun way and has a real gift for bringing people together, which is why Directors, Founders and CEOs make sure they’re in the room every month. Meetings are lively, practical and full of laughter, and the peer-to-peer support members give each other keeps them coming back.
The Hub meets at Worthing BrewHouse and Kitchen on Wykeham Road, just a short walk from the town centre. The team there have backed us at every stage of our growth, and we’re grateful for the welcome they give us every month.
Several Hubsters have been with us for a few years now including, including Jon McGlashan of Bubble Life, Justin Howard of Blue Billboard, Bruce Bignell of Evolve Pipedrive, with new comers Howie McConnell of 28th Street Media, Helen Vane of Go Gecko Recruitment, Liana Naylor of Inside Publications and a few newer members who joined too. Long may it continue.
The attached image shows how the hub started. From left to Right as pictured. Wes Atkinson lives in Worthing and runs Adapt Fitness in Hove, and is now part of the Hurst Hub. Sonny Cutting, Founder of the Hub, Jo Stuart was part of the Worthing hub but then moved to Hayling Island, so she now runs the Chichester Hub, and manages her coaching business, Ayres and Spaces, and of course, Janet who runs the Worthing hub. We started off at Freedom Works, but we wanted better food and free parking, so we moved into Brewhouse three years ago, and have never looked back.

Room to Grow: Shoreham Opens in February 2027
Being oversubscribed is a good problem to have, and it’s one we’ve planned for. Our new Shoreham Hub opens in February 2027, so the Directors and Founders who couldn’t get a seat in Worthing will still have a Hub to call home.
Better still, they’ll be helping us set it up early next year, giving our tenth Hub a strong start from day one.
If you’re a Director or Founder looking for peer-to-peer mentoring and support close to home, now is the time to register your interest. We will have 20 hubs across Sussex in under 3 years with a BIG push in the next two years to help directors, founders and CEOs, across Sussex and beyond.
