Growth Clinic One: A Morning of Peer-to-Peer Mentoring at Tottington Manor

Why we set up the Growth Clinic, and what comes next

The Directors Hub has grown quickly, and as it has, Hub founder Sonny Cutting noticed that many of our Directors, Founders and CEOs were bringing the same growth questions to the table. A few months ago he set out to give them more focused support, and this week the first ever Directors Hub Growth Clinic took place at Tottington Manor, near Henfield.

From 9:30 to 12:30, mentor and coach Duncan Knight worked with Pippa Crouch of Global OHS, Fay Miller of Gingerbread World and Jonathan Lea of the Jonathan Lea Network. Each runs a business with five or more staff, and each arrived with similar challenges, which made for frank, practical conversation and plenty of ideas to take back to the office.

A big thank you to Duncan for leading the morning, and to Pippa, Fay and Jonathan for rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in.

Feedback is already in, and we’re acting on it. Future clinics will run a little longer and have a bit more focus to the hot seat structure.

The next Growth Clinic is in February. Sonny will bring together six Hubsters at different stages, from solopreneurs to teams of two, five or ten. The clinics are fully funded by a sponsor, who will be revealed at our Christmas lunch event next month.
